SASSA Status Check at isassastatus.co.za is an independent information website. It helps readers understand SRD application results and find the official service for the task they need to complete.

Our role and limits
Our pages explain steps and link to official services. We do not approve applications, release payments, submit appeals, change account details or retrieve individual grant records. You do not need to send personal documents to read a guide. Decisions and personal checks are handled by SASSA, DSD and their relevant services.
How we prepare our guides
We use publicly available official SASSA and DSD information as the starting point for instructions. Guides include source links and review notes so readers can check the original service. Explanations and visual guides help readers separate different tasks, rather than treating every problem as a reason to submit another application.
Government instructions and online forms can change. A review date is not a promise that every detail stays unchanged. Check the current official instructions before entering personal information or taking action. If a guide conflicts with the official service, follow the official service and report the mismatch to us.

What to include when reporting a guide problem
Send the page URL, the section concerned and a link to the relevant official instruction. Tell us which part is unclear without including your ID number, grant record, OTP or banking documents. Website feedback does not create a SASSA support case or preserve an appeal deadline; use the relevant official service for your application.
